The Road begins

Let no man dare to ride the winds,
as mothers children do.
Let no man dare to tempt ,
the fires their way.
Let no man think the waters will,
obey him and be true,
nor order up the earthquake in his day.
For the children of the Goddess,
walk a very special road,
To speak the truth,
its not an easy way.
But to one who hears the calling,
and has felt its gentle good,
There is no other path,
For she is joy.

So filled with joy you follow her,
although the path is long,
and hum the ancient Lay
or merry tune,
And your burdens grow much lighter,
for you know you are not wrong.

And the children's ,children's, children,
say the ancient Witches Rune,
Your the one to ride the wind,
that answers your command.
Your the one to ride the wind,
that answers your command.
And you'll force the fire ,
the others say is wild.
And the waters will obey you,
and the earthquake will seek your hand.

And you will smile , for you will know,
then that you are Mothers child.
