An Enochian Heptagram Ritual

Planetary energies are normally related to the macrocosmic universe, as
they are treated in the hexagram rituals used by most Western schools of
ceremonial magick. Rather than develop an Enochian hexagram ritual, it
seems more true to the original material to use a heptagram ritual based on
the Angels of the Heptarchia Mystica, Dee's planetary grimoire. The
planetary attribution of each point of the heptagram can be obtained by
referring to the wheel-like diagram that shows the 49 Angels of the
heptarchial system. These attributions match the order of the heptagram
formed by the ensigns of creation on the Holy Table. As is the case with
the AOIVEAE, if the Holy Table is present you will want to trace the
heptagrams across it, so that when you are tracing the heptagram in the
east, for example, you should be standing to the west of the table.

Part I: Planets and the Zodiac
1. Trace the heptagram attributed to Mars in the east in red
and the Sign of Aries in the center of the heptagram in
green. Vibrate BABALEL while making the Sign of the Enterer
and retire in the Sign of Silence in the case of a
banishing, or the sign Puer in the case of an invocation.
2. Turn to the south. Trace the heptagram attributed to Luna in
the south in white and the Sign of Cancer in the center in
black. Vibrate BLUMAZA while making the Sign of the Enterer
and retire in the Sign of Silence in the case of a
banishing, or the Sign of Air in the case of an invocation.
3. Turn to the west. Trace the heptagram attributed to Venus in
the west in green and the Sign of Libra in the center in
red. Vibrate BALIGON while making the Sign of the Enterer
and retire in the Sign of Silence in the case of a
banishing, or the Sign of Fire in the case of an invocation.
4. Turn to the north. Trace the heptagram attributed to Saturn
in the north in black and the Sign of Capricorn in the
center in white. Vibrate BNAPSEN while making the Sign of
the Enterer and retire in the Sign of Silence in the case of
a banishing, or the sign Mater Triumphans in the case of an
invocation.
5. Return to the east. Above you, trace the heptagram
attributed to Jupiter in blue and the Sign of Sagittarius in
the center in orange. Vibrate BYNEPOR while making the Sign
of the Enterer upwards at a 45 degree angle, and retire in
the Sign of Silence in the case of a banishing or the sign
Vir in the case of an invocation.
6. Below you, trace the heptagram attibuted to Mercury in
orange and the Sign of Virgo in the center in blue. Vibrate
BNASPOL while making the Sign of the Enterer downward at a
45 degree angle, and retire in the Sign of Silence in the
case of a banishing or the Sign of Water in the case of an
invocation.
7. Upon yourself trace the heptagram attributed to Sol in
yellow and the Sign of Leo in the center in purple. Vibrate
BOBOGEL while making the Sign of the Enterer to the east, as
in step 1, and retire in the Sign of Silence in the case of
a banishing or the Sign of Osiris Slain in the case of an
invocation. In the latter case, then proceed to give the
rest of the L.V.X. signs (The Mourning of Isis, Apophis and
Typhon, and Osiris Risen).
Part II: The Governors
In the attitude of Osiris Risen, intone:
RAAS I OLPAGED (RAAS I = "in the east is"),
SOBOLN I HONONOL (SOBOLN I = "in the west is"),
BABAGE I ZIRACAH (BABAGE I = "in the south is"),
LUCAL I ZARNAAH (LUCAL I = "in the north is"),
CALZ- I ARFAOLG (CALZ- I = "above the firmament is", Z- is
pronounced as "Zod"),
OROCHA I ZINGGEN (OROCHA = "beneath you is"),
OD OVOARS I ZARCHOL (OD OVOARS I = "and to the center is").
Part III: Completion
1. Make the sign Puella and intone: TA CALZ I OROCHA ("As above
the firmament so beneath you"), then make the sign Mulier.
2. If you are performing additional invocatory magical work,
make the Sign of Rending the Veil and intone: MADRIAX
CARMARA YOLCAM LONSHI ("O ye heavens of CARMARA, bring forth
power"). Then proceed with the that ritual, continuing on to
the final step only when it has been completed. If you are
using this ritual to banish a temple, space, or spirit, go
straight to the final step.
3. Make the Sign of Closing the Veil and intone: MADRIAX
CARMARA ADRPAN LONSHI ("O ye heavens of CARMARA, cast down
power").
